So, I picked up The Vision Board yesterday. Quite frankly, I was really just hoping it could help paint a picture of what I am supposed to do this fall...and I'm pleased to relay that it is enlightening.
In effort to being my 'visioning' process, I compiled a list of meaningful words/phrases.
It was essentially a free association process of objects, concepts, emotions etc that spoke to me, and I am fairly surprised at how inspiring it has been. After all, these words were all just floating around in my head- why should writing them all down change anything?? Well, writing them down inherently encourages you to create new connections between things you might not have previously connected. Also, it shows you recurring themes...like, 'light' came up for me several times. I'll definitely be pursuing this further tomorrow.
